Pre-opening · Betbezer-d’Armagnac
A house to come together.
In Betbezer-d’Armagnac, a house full of character is being prepared for families and friends: 8 to 12 guests, depending on the arrangement. Plans include self-guided activities, the optional Fil Rouge Enigma and hosted sessions by advance booking.
We aim to open in spring 2027, subject to completing the purchase and preparations.
The project
Together, without having to do everything together.
Gather around a table, play or take a quiet moment: your group will choose its own pace, without a fixed programme.
Live together
A whole house, with shared rooms, bedrooms and tree-filled grounds.
Play freely
Games and music will be available for self-guided use, without a fixed timetable.
Choose a hosted moment
Optional hosted sessions will complement the stay, by advance booking.
Discover the area
A project rooted in the Landes d’Armagnac, linking rural heritage, culture, play and shared time.
Who is behind the project?
Two complementary paths, one shared thread.
Le Fil Rouge is led by Julien Faucon and Sahra Driai. Their backgrounds bring together play, creativity, technology and project management. They share a wish to create a welcoming house where music, games and hospitality will bring people together.

Julien Faucon
Game design · activities · group hosting
Julien trained as an engineer and games librarian. Games have always been part of his life: exploring, experimenting, understanding and sharing are what draw him to games. His work in a games library and community centre feeds his wish to bring people together. At Le Fil Rouge, that will shape the puzzles, hosted activities and the way groups are welcomed.

Sahra Driai
Creation · project · music
Sahra is an INSA Lyon engineer, IT consultant and musician. Since childhood, she has enjoyed creating, experimenting and finding her own way of doing things. Photography, music, making and woodworking feed that curiosity. At Le Fil Rouge, she will combine this creative outlook with project organisation, turning their ideas into a warm and welcoming place to share.
The property today
A house full of character, surrounded by trees.
These photographs show the house before the planned improvements: shared rooms, bedrooms and the future activity room.

The property today
Landes architecture among the trees
Timber framing, exposed beams and a mature garden already give the place a strong identity. The future layout will build on this architecture rather than erase it.
Details of the property
Three views of the house and garden
Timber-framed façades, the entrance and the planted garden.

The lounge
A sofa, skylight, old beams and a colourful floor create a quieter room, distinct from the main living space.

The main living space
The table, fireplace, staircase and circulation routes connect meals with the other shared moments of the stay.

The kitchen
A high-ceilinged kitchen with exposed beams, arranged around a central table.

The mezzanine
A mezzanine space extending the shared rooms.

The future activity room
This red room and its mezzanine are intended to host some of the self-guided activities and hosted formats. The final equipment and layout are still being defined.

The sleeping areas
Two examples among four bedrooms with their own shower rooms
The main house has four bedrooms, each with a private shower room and toilet. Additional sleeping areas will allow for 8 to 12 guests, depending on the final arrangement. These photographs show two bedroom-and-shower-room combinations; one also has its own entrance from outside.

A garden and oak grove that extend the house
The mature garden, oak grove and meadow will offer space to spend time together or take a quiet break. The outdoor improvements are still being prepared.

The signature experience
A story to follow, if the group wishes.
Observe the house and garden, explore, make connections and solve puzzles together: the Fil Rouge Enigma will combine logic and cooperation in a story-led adventure. Planned as an optional part of your stay at no extra charge, it will unfold at your group’s own pace. You will be able to start, pause and return to it later, or simply enjoy the house.
The experience is still being written and prototyped. Its final design will be tested before opening.
The Fil Rouge catalogue
Planned activities. Hosted sessions when we open.
Self-guided activities are planned as part of the stay. Hosted sessions will be optional, booked in advance and charged separately. À table will offer pre-ordered breakfasts and home-style meals; the Fil Rouge Market, a small selection of local products. These services are still being prepared.

Where the project stands
Working towards spring 2027.
The preliminary sale agreement was signed on 28 September 2026. The bank is reviewing our financing application. Our motivation remains strong: to make this house a place to come together, play and share. We aim to complete the purchase in late February 2027 and welcome our first guests in April or May 2027. This provisional timetable depends on securing financing, completing the purchase and preparing the property. The opening date and booking launch will be announced once confirmed.
Let’s write the next chapter together.
A crowdfunding campaign is being prepared. Help us bring Le Fil Rouge to life and enjoy exclusive benefits at launch as a thank-you for your generosity.
The rewards and campaign details will be announced when the campaign launches.
